BEST LEGITIMATE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLERS:
Many books claim to be psychological thrillers - these ones actually are, and they're actually GOOD.
1. Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
2. The Kind Worth Killing - Peter Swanson
3. The Good Girl - Mary Kubica
BEST STORYLINE AND/OR CHARACTERS IN A NOVEL:
These books probably could have fallen under other categories, but hell, I needed to specifically call out the originality of these bad boys (or girls) because they're that great.
1. YOU - Caroline Kepnes
2. Nutshell - Ian McEwan
BEST "I HAVE NO MEMORY OF WHAT HAPPENED!" NOVEL:
Yes, this plotline has been so overdone in recent years, but this one does it better than others.
Cartwheel - Jennifer DuBois
BEST USE OF AN UNEXPECTED TWIST IN A NOVEL:
Behind Her Eyes - Sarah Pinborough
